I wish the games worked on a 4G iPod. I guess I'll have to wait for the warranty to expire and then for it to die before I spring for a 5G. Hopefully by then there will be a 6G widescreen iPod!
I'm more curious about the iPod nano 4GB = $149 and then the regular iPod 30GB = $249 pricing than the pricing between the 30GB and 80GB.

Windows is a trademark. Microsoft sued Lindows because of the similarity, then ended up paying them $20,000,000 to go away when it looked as if Microsoft could lose the trademark. And Apple owns "App Store". Microsoft just wants to use the name.
And a company named ContainerStore owns the trademark on the word "Container Store" !!!!

The amount people who want to use the iMac as a display is a small group?
We're talking consoles, PCs, Macs, phones, tablets, media players, blue-ray players.
I think we'd see a large amount of people like this features, plus it would make the iMac a much more attractive purchase, as it would still be a fine display even after the hardware in it is too old. I know it would most likely make me go for the iMac over the Mac mini(although most likely I'm waiting for the mini before any purchases)
My point exactly. My iMac is already behind my i7 2600k build and cannot shake a stick to it when it comes to everyday computing and hardcore rendering. However... I guess I'm going to be in the market for a new monitor once this thing dies. Sadly the new iMac wont be on my list.
What's frustrating is that if and when this iMac dies (my 24" died when they tried to repair a ghosting issue), they will give me the latest and greatest which is nothing more than a slightly faster CPU and GPU with the biggest feature missing.
I could give 2 ***** about TB connectivity since hardly any hardware exists for it ATM.
Like I said... when the day comes and my iMac takes a ****, my replacement is going to eBay and will be my last Mac until they can target more than just the "pretty computer demographic".

Cmd-X = Cut
Cmd-C = Copy
Cmd-V = Paste
Grab will snap a picture of a window, the entire screen etc. There is also print to PDF.
Drag and drop to move a file.
I use both.... and all I can say is "CUT and paste". Windows has had it for years, OS X SL doesn't. Same with window snap.
I love OS X, but, like with a lot of Apple products, its the "little things" that matter...
Both are great operating systems, and I will continue to use both since I cannot run Visual Studio on Mac, or XCode on Windows... :)

Ugh, Americans and their providers. We may not have "free" ahum phones , but at least when you buy a cell phone, you know it will work with every company, and everywhere. And no hidden costs.

My question is, will the movies have subtitles/captioning. As a hearing impaired user, that's the deal breaker for me. If they do have captioning, I can see myself purchasing a few movies once in a while (Though I'd still rather have DVDs most of the time). If not, no way.

I was there yesterday, and all Greenpeace did was hand out leaflets at the entrance to people entering the Expo at the Olympia. Hardly the actions of a "militant eco-group". I honestly didn't see them do anything else out of the ordinary, especially compared to other stand-holders who also roamed freely around the exhibition giving out leaflets etc.
I saw them in the pub across the road in the afternoon, and they looked they were having a hasty meeting about what had transpired. Why assume people want to game on the go ? I don't game on the go with my MBA, I usually use it to VPN to work on the go or to do some hobby programming. However, when home, I plug it into my external monitor and I game there. Why wouldn't people with 11" do the same ? Play some WoW/StarCraft/Civilization/Portal/Whatever at home when "docked", unplug and take the laptop on the Go for other tasks they need to do away from home ?If you read my post more carefully you'll understand I was referring to the people who play games on the 11". As far as I'm concerned, working on a laptop with an external monitor plugged in is an exception (rare) and not something common.

Am I the only one who's starting to find this petty crusade of yours annoying? Seriously, just drop it. The iMac is a great machine. I loved my G5 and I might well buy another iMac when I upgrade from the Mini I have now. A Mac Pro would be nice too, but we'll see. Anyways, the iMac is not the "most powerful desktop" in the world and no one gives a damn: it's an awesome machine regardless. So please, honestly, just drop it. What you said was false and still is. The way i see it, is that the headshot wasn't point blank but rather unlucky as the robber got to his car before puffing his last breath. Maybe the robber moved his head in the trajectory, maybe the bullet bounced on something. Who knows what happend, but it doesn't sound like an aimed headshot to me.
