How do you use the knife part, and how does it not slice your mouth open?

I suppose the knife part is on the side and I guess you just have to be careful not to cut the side of your mouth open. I doubt its that sharp tho. I'm yet to use or to find one of these in the wild.

I recently saw a pc with OSX running on it. And that's neat. I'm mainly a Windows user but I've remained respectful to Apple hardware but I can't stand OSX. It's stable and it's easy to use but I much rather prefer the unrestricted control a knowledgeable user can have over Windows. Thus leads me to my question;

Has anyone gotten or heard of anyone getting Windows to run on a Mac without an excruciatingly slow emulator? Is there any chance of this happening in the future?

The recruitment seminar is really relaxed and you will get through it as long as you be yourself, engage with the recruiters and other people there and ask plenty of questions at the end regarding the job. Don't come over too much as a hardcore Apple fanboy but talk about how much you can't put down your iPhone/iPod. During the group exercises, make sure you try and come over as a good leader but good team player at the same time - make sure that your ideas are part of the main focus but be sure to agree with ideas that you wish you though of. Otherwise, just enjoy it as it's really relaxed and you will spend most of the two and a half hours watching a presentation, videos and doing some group exercises. They get through hundreds of CV's at a time and to get the chance to be considered is a good achievement. Just out of interest, what store are you thinking of joining and what position are you after?

EDIT: If you choose .htaccess files, do _not_ use 744 or 755. You want these to be 644, maximum.

Would you care to elaborate on this, and its security implications?

Also, if you modify your httpd.conf file (which *is* the best method, but rarely available in shared hosting environments), don't forget to restart Apache ;)

OWC is making a Mac Pro PCI Express SSD aren't they? I haven't heard about it in what seems like a few months.

They are doing lots of things. They have been talking about the SSD firmware updater for OS X for ages now and it still does not exist. I guess the PCIe SSD requires relatively lots of work while the market for it is small. It may come some day.

uh ok, it's a grey page with a blue box and an cold play video :rolleyes:

Sorry man I'm not very impressed, it's clean and simple yes, but the darkish coloured text on the blue box doesn't really have alot of contrast, sure you can read it but it certanly doesn't jump out at you. Plus I've never been a big fan of super minimalist design, add some gradiants!

The text colour needs to be adjusted a bit but here's the direction I'd take it.

hmm..well the colours i've used are taken from coldplay's own artwork. i'm glad it doesn't attract attention..that'd distract people from seeing the video.

anyway, i simply wanted an alternative page to direct specific ad runs to as opposed to a blog posting. and while you may not find a coldplay ad interesting - 22,000 other people did. :)

but thanks for the advice.

I've never found the server healthy enough to watch until 48 hours later anyway. Pity they only put the MW'07 onto the ITS. Perhaps they'll do it with the '08 - so it can download in full and the be watched.

Didn't the last rumor say this was supposed to happen this week? It's a nice-to-have feature, but anyone who has been holding off on an upgrade simply because the white phone wasn't available is vain or foolish.

You can call me whatever you wish, I just want my damn white iPhone 4 already :D

Still, calling people foolish for failing to purchase the latest tech product (even if it is a phone)? Life. Get it.

I heartily agree, I even paid for a Pixmania card to get discounts and better service. It doesn't work, the discounts are only applied to special items.
As to service, what service? I bought a Nikon Coolpix that had a screen that failed after only 10 days. By the time I had an authorisation to return the item, not in my country but to their office in France, by the time they had sent it to Nikon to confirm there was a problem with the camera and eventually got a refund it took over three months! That was three months of complaining, writing to head office, what aggravation!

Pixmania gets my thumbs down, terrible service.

I dont think ill have a problem with the wires, myself personally, but in terms of designs i thought that it is comparable because of how the coolmaster isnt confined and it allows more air flow under the mbp. I've read stuff about how you can cool down a mbp even by raising it a half inch propped up against an eraser or something, so maybe thats where the coolmaster excels and because of the price difference, it really just basically comes down to which one does the job of cooling it down better.

Being less than 2 weeks old it could still be some of the chemicals and coatings still cooking off...though it might be a safe bet to get it looked at thoroughly before something unexpected happens.

If I'm remembering correctly, there was a CD installer for Tiger. If you could find that, you'd be good.

I'd suggest getting at least an external DVD drive, though... always good to be able to burn a DVD, even if purely for backup purposes.
